1. Agreement to terms
Welcome to PluginShift. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services, including our WordPress and WooCommerce plugins. By purchasing, downloading, or using our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our products or services.
PluginShift is a software company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, specializing in WordPress and WooCommerce plugins. Our products are designed to enhance your store, but they are subject to the conditions below.
2. Licence for plugins
The PHP code in all PluginShift plugins is released under the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3) or later, which allows you to use, modify, and distribute that code in accordance with the GPL. When you buy a plan, we grant you a licence to install and use the plugin, while updates and support are provided for the number of sites specified by your purchased plan and for the duration of your subscription. Bundled assets and third-party services may be subject to additional terms in our License Agreement.
Notwithstanding the GPL allowances for code, you are prohibited from reselling, redistributing, or offering modified versions of our complete products for download or sale without our express written permission. This includes, but is not limited to, listing our products on marketplaces, sharing them via file-sharing services, or incorporating them into bundled offerings without authorization. For more details on the GPL, visit gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html.
3. Subscriptions & renewals
PluginShift licences are sold as annual subscriptions. A subscription grants access to Pro features, updates, and support for the plan’s site limit and for as long as the subscription remains active and the product continues to be offered by PluginShift. Subscriptions renew automatically to ensure uninterrupted updates and support; we will remind you before each renewal, and you may cancel automatic renewal at any time from your account dashboard. When a subscription lapses, your site keeps working, but you stop receiving updates and Pro functionality until you renew.
4. Warranty disclaimer
Our plugins are provided “as is” without any warranties, express or implied, in line with GPL policies. Human errors in code can occur, and we do not guarantee that our products will be error-free, secure, or compatible with all third-party plugins, themes, or future updates you may implement. We cannot ensure functionality with every existing or future setup.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PluginShift shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruptions — arising from the use or inability to use our products and services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product in the 12 months preceding the claim.
6. Product delivery
Purchased products are available for download through your PluginShift account dashboard. Free products require only an account login where needed. Downloads are unlimited in number and duration. If you encounter an issue, first verify your payment status; for persistent problems, submit a support ticket. We prioritize account-related tickets.
7. Compatibility
We do not offer custom development or integration services for our plugins. Minor fixes (for example, a few lines of code) may be provided via support tickets at our discretion. Our products adhere to WordPress and WooCommerce coding standards, which minimizes the risk of conflicts. If bugs or issues arise, we will assist in resolving them where possible.
8. Updates
We promptly address and fix identified bugs, releasing updates as needed. In some cases, a temporary fix may be provided through a support ticket before a full update is released. More complex issues may require additional time to resolve.
9. Support services
Support is available through our ticketing system for premium products, as outlined in your pricing plan. Premium support and updates are active for the duration specified (for example, one year for a single-site purchase) or for as long as PluginShift offers the service. Renew your licence to maintain access.
We strive to respond to support tickets within 24–48 hours. In unforeseen circumstances — including weekends and holidays — a reply may take longer, in which case a response may arrive after up to 5 business days. If you have not received a response within a reasonable time, please contact us again at admin@pluginshift.com.
Free users receive support on a secondary basis after premium users and are encouraged to use the WordPress.org support forums. PluginShift is not obligated to provide support to free users but aims to assist where feasible. Please note that support is not available via social media platforms.
10. Pricing & offers
All orders are processed by Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. Prices exclude taxes unless stated, and applicable VAT or sales tax is added at checkout. PluginShift reserves the right to modify prices, introduce offers, or discontinue products at any time without prior notice. Such changes are a normal part of business operations and do not affect an active subscription’s pricing until its next renewal.
11. Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new purchases, as described in our Refund Policy. Renewals and specific exclusions are detailed there.
12. User conduct & prohibited use
Users must not engage in spamming, fraud, or any illegal activity on our site. Violators may be blocked to protect other users. If you experience suspicious activity, contact our team for priority resolution.
PluginShift also reserves the right to deny service, support, or access to our products where they are used on websites engaged in activities illegal under Bangladeshi law — including but not limited to gambling, adult content, money laundering, or other prohibited categories.
13. Intellectual property
All content on our site — including plugins, images, and documentation — is owned by or licensed to PluginShift. The PluginShift name and logo are our trademarks. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our intellectual property without express permission, except as allowed under the GPL for applicable code.
14. Termination
PluginShift reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to products, support, or accounts for a material breach of these Terms, without refund or notice. On termination you must stop using the products. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. We cooperate with legal processes but are not liable for outcomes beyond our control.
16. Amendments to terms
PluginShift reserves the right to change any clause in these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Your continued use of our products or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
